OP, EB, PRB: understanding the codes

• OP: the main expansions, numbered in release order. They drive the competitive game.
• EB (Extra Booster): shorter, often themed sets, such as the anime anniversary (EB-02) or the saga's heroines (EB-03 and EB-05).
• PRB (Premium Booster): premium boosters gathering a selection of cards, such as PRB-01 and PRB-02 « The Best ». Their display holds 20 boosters.
• ST: ready-to-play starter decks.

Main sets available now

Since Les Nouveaux Empereurs (OP-09), the main sets have followed one another in French: Sang Royal (OP-10), Des Poings Vifs comme l'Éclair (OP-11), L'Héritage du Maître (OP-12), Successeurs (OP-13), Les Sept de la Mer d'Azur (OP-14), Aventure sur l'Île de Dieu (OP-15) and L'Heure de la Bataille Décisive (OP-16). The latest, OP-17 Les Guerriers les Plus Puissants au Monde, came out on 28 August 2026, in 12-card boosters and 24-booster displays.

Special formats are available too: EB-02 Anime 25th Collection, celebrating 25 years of the anime, EB-03 Heroines Edition, and the PRB-01 and PRB-02 « The Best » premium boosters. They don't move the game forward like main sets do, but collectors love them, especially for their artwork.

Coming next: EB-05, OP-18 and OP-19

First up: EB-05 Heroines Edition vol. 2, due on 30 October 2026. Following the success of EB-03, this second volume puts One Piece's female characters back in the spotlight, a theme that appeals to players and collectors alike.

Three weeks later, on 20 November 2026, comes OP-18, the next main set; its French name hasn't been confirmed yet. Finally, OP-19 is announced for 5 March 2027 and will open next year's calendar.

Which format to choose?

• Booster: 12 cards, ideal to discover a set.
• French display: 24 boosters of 12 cards, the best format to open a lot or keep sealed.
• PRB display: 20 premium boosters, a format apart for collectors.
• Starter decks: to play straight away with a coherent list.

If you play tournaments, a display remains the most efficient way to get a set's cards. If you collect, consider keeping at least one sealed display of each set you care about: it becomes much harder to find once the set is sold out.
